I think 85 is old, but that could just be my opinion. Some other people might not think that. What do you think?
When your old you are in a old folks home. You need help being cared for, you also loose your memory. You loose your memory because you have been around for so long you can't remember anything. When you are old you sometimes start getting Alzheimer's (Alzheimer's is when you can't remember anything).
Another reason is that they have to use a cane or a walker. When you get 85 you are weak and your legs get to weak. So it is so hard to walk when your 85. So you either need help to walk or you can barely walk yourself.
When you are 85 you also start loosing your hearing. You can't hear very well and you need people to speak up. You sometimes have a hearing aid to help you hear. But sometimes people still can't hear very well.
There were some of the reasons I think 85 is old.

One thing i disagree with is that not all people are in a old folks home when they are 85 because they could be healthy.

One thing i don't agree with is that you said all people at that age are in nursing homes.Not all people are because they can still take care of themselves.
One thing I agree with is that they do lose their hearing and most people do at that age and they can't hear a thing.
You did really good explaining everything how they lose there abilities when you get older but i think you could of talked about a different age instead 85 the whole time.

Not all of the old people live in old folks homes?

I agree that by the age 85 people may start getting loosing their memory because people they are getting pretty old.
I disagree that you will for sure have to go to an old folk's home because some people can still live on their by the age of 85.

ReplyDeleteI like how you asked other people's opinions at the beginning. One thing you need to work on is looking over your work to correct spelling errors. I agree with you when you say people have different opinions on what is old. One thing I disagree with is not every old person needs a cane.
