Grammar
Today in grammar we learned how to write a five paragraph in little time.You have to pick a topic . Then make a web and say one word things about your topic. Your one word is then what you talk about in your paragraph. Tomorrow we are going to write our paragraph.

Grammar
In grammar today we learned about Using Capital Letters. Here are some rules to using capital letters:
1. Capitalize the first word of a sentence and of each line of poetry.
2. Capitalize the first, last, and all important words in the tiles of books, poems, stories and songs.
3. Capitalize a person's title when it comes before a name.
4. Capitalize abbreviations of days and months, parts and addresses, postal codes, and titles of members of the armed forces. Also capitalize all letters in the abbreviations of provinces.
There were some rules for Using Capital Letters. Here is an example of one:
Lauren, does your friend live in vancouver, b.c , or carstairs, alberta?
Here is the right way to right it:
Lauren, does your friend live in Vancouver, B.C, or Carstairs, Alberta?

Nouns
Today in grammar we learned about singular and plural nouns. Some of the rules are:
Most nouns just need a "s" to become a plural. ex: frog- frogs, hand- hands
Words that end in "o" need either an "s" or "es" ex: piano- pianos, toe- toes

Nouns
Today in grammar, we learned about nouns. Nouns are people, places, things or qualities. some examples of nouns are school, Virden, and Lou Frank.

Idioms
Today in grammar, we learned about idioms. Idioms are short phrase that together, are a funny way to say something. An example would be " bite off more than you can chew." That means that you have planned more things to do than you can manage.
