Rates

Today we learned about rates. A rate is a comparison of 2 numbers.
ex: 80km/h
This means that you travel 80km in 1 hour.
A rate with the second term as 1 is called a unit rate.
ex: $3 / 2 hours = $1.50 / 1 hour
